Hall Sensor3
Missing parameters [name]
  • Latch

Hall IC(Latch) has built-in Hall element, voltage regulator, small signal amplifier, chopper stabilizer, Schmitt trigger and other circuits.

The S pole and the N pole must act alternately before the output pin has a work or release change.

It has the advantages of small size, light weight, long life, easy installation, low power consumption, high frequency, vibration resistance, and no fear of dust and oil pollution. It is widely used in industrial automation technology, testing machines and information processing.

  • Switch

Hall IC(Switch) are divided into omnipolar and unipolar.
The omnipolar Hall IC can sense both the S pole and the N pole of the magnet, and the unipolar Hall IC can only sense the S pole or the N pole of the magnet.
The magnet is close to the IC sensing surface and the magnetic field reaches the conduction point (BOPx), and the output pin is turned on.
The magnet is far away from the IC sensing surface and the magnetic field reaches the release point (BRPx), the output pin is cut off.
The omnipolar Hall IC has low-voltage operation and micro-power functions.

  • Driver

Drive type IC is also called All in one IC, divided into single-phase drive type and two-phase drive type.
Built-in Hall element, dynamic offset correction, voltage regulator, overheating and power failure protection and a pair of complementary power output pins (DO, DOB).

The output pin has a built-in chopping diode to protect the output pin from being injured by the coil back electromotive force. It also has built-in PWM speed control, FG/RD output detection signal and lock protection functions.

  • Linear

The linear Hall IC consists of a Hall element, a linear amplifier and a totem-type output pole.
Use external capacitors to achieve low noise output and provide higher temperature stability, linearity and accuracy.
The output voltage is set by the power supply voltage and is proportional to the change of the magnetic flux density, and a variety of sensitivities can be selected.
When there is no magnetic field, the output is maintained at half of the power supply voltage, and the error value can reach 1%.

  • Special

Special Hall ICs include dual Hall ICs and array Hall ICs, which provide solutions for precision control applications.

It can be applied to products such as direction detection, speed detection and angle detection.
